　　when和whenever怎么区别？

　　如果独立一个事件或时间日期确定已知，请使用when：

　　When the sun comes in, the doctor goes out.

　　阳光进来，医生离去。

　　I had an active social life when I was at college.

　　上大学时，我的社交生活很丰富。

　　They met when she was fifteen.

　　他们是在她十五岁时认识的。

　　反复发生的事件或日期或时间不确定的事件请使用whenever：

　　（小窍门：如果能用every time that 或 at whatever time代替，最好用whenever）

　　I walk or use public transport whenever possible.

　　我尽可能步行或乘坐公共交通工具。

　　He asked about our health whenever he met me.

　　他每次见到我都问我们的健康状况。

　　Whenever a problem arrives, do three things - face it, fight it and finish it.

　　每当一个问题出现时，做三件事——面对它，战胜它，解决它。

　　疑问句中一般用when，但可以用whenever来加强语气：

　　whenever意味着“无论什么时间”；

　　no matter when含义可能更丰富，“不管什么时间，什么情况，或对说话人来说都没有问题”。

　　我们在用whenever和no matter when引导让步状语从句时，可以互换：

　　You may point out our shortcoming, no matter when.

　　不管什么时候，你都可以指出我们的缺点。

　　No matter when/Whenever you start, it is important that you do not stop after starting.

　　不管你什么时候开始，重要的是开始后就要坚持不懈。

　　No matter what/Whatever happens and no matter when/whenever, I'll always be there for you.

　　无论发生什么事，无论何时，我都会在你身边。

　　Whenever/No matter when you need me, I'll be here. Whenever/No matter when you're in trouble, I'm always near.

　　无论何时你需要我，我都在这儿。每次你遇到麻烦，我总是在你身边。

　　I always make sure I keep the children in view whenever/ no matter when we're in a public place.

　　whatever，whoever和

　　注意：

　　whatever和whoever还可以引导名词性从句；

　　不能用no matter what/who只能引导状语从句：

　　I'll try to do whatever is right.
